A Romanian dance.
The dance is in an even 4/4 rhythm.
Start in a circle in a W hold, facing centre.
Take three steps forward, starting with the right, then touch the left beside the right.
Step back with the left, then touch the right beside the left.
Step forward with the right, then touch the left beside the right.
Then do it all in reverse - three steps back (starting with the left), touch, forward, touch, back, touch.
Do the first part twice.
Turn to face right. Take eight steps forward, starting with the right.
Turn to face centre. Do two grapevines to the left - right cross in front, left to the side, right cross behind, left to the side, and repeat.
Do the second part twice.
Turn to face right.
Step forward with the right, quickly close with the left,
then step forward again with the right.
Do this again with opposite feet, then again starting with the right.
Take two steps forward, starting with the left.
Repeat all of this with opposite feet, starting with the left.
Do the third part twice.
There is a one-phrase introduction, the dance begins when the full band start playing.
