Koga Me Mama Rodila

History

A Pravo Trakijsko variation choreographed by Yves Moreau. I learnt this dance from Yves in 2000.

Rhythm

The dance rhythm is quick, quick, slow, slow with an extra slow step at the end of the dance sequence.

Steps

Start in a circle or line in a V hold.

Facing right step forward with the right, forward with the left, slow forward with the right while turning to face centre, then slow forward with the left. Step back with the right, close with the left, then slow step to the side and sway right, and slow sway left. Step to the side with the right, cross behind with the left, then slow step to the side and sway right, slow sway left. Finally a slow close with the left, bringing it around a little in front and bowing very slightly.

I usually start the dance with the singing.

Music
